Or the tunnel isn't as long as I thought

This is my actual first post. There is a default first post when you install the software, but I'm typing this one out as I sit by a cub scout camp fire while everyone else is settling down in their tents for the night.

I started this website not too long ago, but hoped to have more style and pazaz to it by now. I'm not the busiest guy around, but with a meager garden, 5 kids, all of their commitments, a full time Job, and developing the skills to build a revolutionary mode of transportation that will change the world as we all know it, I need to chose where I spend my time wisely.

Sometimes i question my vision as i struggle with progress sitting alone in my garage.

"I think my welds are getting better, but am I just deluding myself?"

"Seriously, is this the best you can do? This should have been better planned."

I could go on and on about the different doubts that creep in. Just this past Thursday and Friday I was thinking that I might be better served keeping my feet on the ground and finding something else to pour my energies into. Lately it doesn't get past that phase, but doubts are doubts. I'm beginning to think more and more that people might have a destiny.

This morning I asked a cub scout that is bridging from tigers to wolves if we were going to have a good day, or a great day. Thankfully he chose "Great day."

We, as in the pack, were on our hike after a lovely nap, uh, excursion to the Alamos school house. Like so many other times, I started talking with some dude about the usual guy stuff - making awesome dad jokes, asking what he does for a living, and all that good stuff.

Much to my surprise, this dude is an airframe mechanic. Like so many times before, I readied myself for ridicule that never came as I loosely described the car-boat-plane idea that has motivated me to develop the skills to build a seemingly mythological mode of transportation that the world has dreamt about for a century.

I'm still at the beginning of the beginning. I don't even have a CGI model that would inspire youths the same way I dreamt about flying cars while reading Popular Science or Popular Mechanics when i had more time. I don't think that matters considering all those bullshit ideas died long ago.

Either way, I think Keith, the airplane dude, is in.

Thanks for the great day Isaac.
